Review: REN Clean Skincare

It's no secret I have a serious love for REN skincare products...I've tried about five different things from the brand and have enjoyed them all.  The REN skincare line is all natural and uses "only 100 percent plant- and mineral-derived actives and is free of synthetic ingredients" all you natural skincare addicts, this one is for you. One of the things I love most from these three products specifically is that you can actually tell a difference almost immediately.

REN's Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask is probably my favourite out of the three. This is a mask that uses four different fruit acid complex to exfoliate the skin and has a jelly/jam like consistency that spreads easily over the skin. I smooth this over clean dry skin, let it sit for 10 minutes and then remove with a warm damp wash cloth. The results with this one are instant. After the ten minutes my face is glowing, smooth and all around in great condition. This mask would be great for mature skin because it's meant to improve the appearance of fine lines. However, this isn't recommended for more sensitive skin types.

This can be purchased at Sephora stores and online. It retails at $55 for 50ml/1.7fl.oz...I've used up that bottle and I'm already planning on repurchasing. This is definitely something I will always want to have at hand.

REN's Invisible Pores Detox Mask is another good one from the line. This is meant to clean out and tighten pores and is quite a thick consistency. I do find that it tightens my pores around my nose up but I also find that it tightens up my face as a even though it is meant for all skin types, I don't know how someone with dry skin would fare but it's great for oily skinned gals.

This can also be purchased at Sephora stores and online. It retails at $34 for 50ml/1.7fl.oz.

REN's Mayblossom T-Zone Control Cleansing "Balancing" cleansers usually dries the life out of my skin but not this cleanser. The mayblossom cleanser does such a great job at controlling oil on my t-zone but it's gentle on my more normal areas and leaves my skin feeling soft and not at all tight or parched. This also keeps breakouts to a minimum. I've purchased this cleanser about 6 times over and I have a feeling I will always fall back to this one.

This can be purchased at Sephora stores and online. It retails at $28 for 150ml/5.1fl.oz.

Compared to some other skincare line's obscene prices, I consider REN to be middle of the range and delivers great results for a more affordable really do get a good bang for your buck in my opinion.

What are your skincare favourites?
