Daily dose of Vitamin-C

Now I don't know how long vitamin-C skincare has been around but over the past year I've seen it left right and centre. With that being said, I decided to try a few bits out from Murad's Essential-C line and overall I'm pretty pleased.

The line up...

Murad Essential-C Toner: this claims to replenish moisture, restore suppleness while fighting free radicals. To be honest I did see a little brightening but as soon as this dried my skin felt slightly tight, so I don't really now how much moisture this actually provides. Out of the three I wouldn't repurchase again but it has definitely lasted me a long time.

Murad Essential-C Day Moisture Broad Spectrum SPF 30: I gone through two bottles of this moisturiser so that in itself kind of tells you that I like it. It is a great moisturiser that doesn't leave your skin feeling like your wearing SPF. Usually SPF products break me out but I had no problem what so ever with this one. My one problem is that it only has 30 SPF and for the price ($60) I want at least 50 that's really the only reason why I haven't repurchased.

Murad Essential-C Night Moisture: this is amazing. It's thick without being greasy and it isn't too heavy for my oily skin. It feels great on the skin but what I love the most about this product is how my skin looks the morning's so plump and radiant, you look like you had an amazing nights sleep every night. I've repurchased this twice and would gladly repurchase again.

Overall, I don't exactly know how convinced I am when it comes to vitamin-C in skincare but being the skincare addict that I am I'll probably still dabble in a few bits here and there. What are your thoughts on vitamin-c?
