Tom Ford Nude Dip Palette Dupes

Long story short. I've been searching (obsessing) over Tom Ford's Nude Dip palette for nearly two months.  I'm on 5 wait lists and placed an order only to receive an email a week later for a refund because it's no longer available. One of the sales men literally laughed and said "Oh hunny, sorry to break your heart, but I think it's time for you to move onto something else"....seriously...just talking about it is getting me worked up. Let it go Lindsey....let it go.

If you want to torture yourself and see the Nude Dip palette in all it's glory (and maybe weep a little) you can find swatches of it here.

Anway, me being the ever so slightly bitter betty that I am (first world problems, I tell ya)  I've rummaged through my makeup collection to find duplicates that I think will make you say "Tom Ford... Tom Ford who?"

Onto the swatches...

(L-R) Iced Latté, High Maintenance

Nude Dip #1: frosted/metallic golden champagne

I have two drugstore options to go with. First, the one that I think is the most comparable (maybe a little bit brighter) is L'oréal's Infallible Eyeshadow in Iced Latte. If you don't want something that metallic you can go with the lighter side in Hard Candy's Baked Eyeshadow Duo in High Maintenance.

(L-R) Amber Rush, Tan Lines, In The Buff, Bare Skin

Nude Dip #2: frosted/metallic muted rose copper

I found quite a few options and depending on your skin tone, how intense you want this rose/copper colour to be or just what you're willing to spend, you can pick whichever suites you best. Another one from L'oréal and it's in Amber Rush, this is the one that is the most intense in regards to colour/metallic finish. Bareminerals Ready Eyeshadow Palette in The Nude Beach gives you the most variety if you think Amber Rush is too intense. The shades Tan Lines, Bare Skin and In The Buff are all in the copper/rosey department.

Nude Dip #3: frosted/metallic medium warm taupe

MAC's Tan pigment. This is the only one I didn't have a drugstore dupe for but it's such a great everyday colour that anyone would get a lot of use out of if you wanted to splurge for it.

(L-R) High Maintenance, Mink 505, Chocolate Brown

Nude Dip #4: satin dark warm brown

I have three options for you. First, is the darker side of Hard Candy's Baked Eyeshadow Duo in High Maintenance. Next up is Forever 21's eyeshadow in Mink 505. Last but not least, MAC's Chocolate Brown pigment (Did MAC get rid of Chocolate Brown!?).

Well, I hope that slightly eased the pain of missing out...I know, I know it's all very dramatic. If you were after this palette have a look through your collection and see what you've come up with, you might find that you had the colours all along. I hope you all have a great weekend!
