March Favourites

One thing that always makes me kind of smack my forehead every time I hear it is when monthly favourites come around and without fail they talk for about 5 minutes on how they "can't believe this month went by so fast blah blah blah"...well, low and behold that is me today. No, but seriously. Where did this month go?! All of my deadlines are in April and I feel like I'm running around with my head cut off *assumes fetal position in a dark corner somewhere*.

Anyway, I'm going to ignore everything I have to get done and chat about makeup...hooray for defence mechanisms.

Esteé Lauder Bronze Goddess: I bought this completely on a whim, which is never a smart idea where perfume is concerned...especially because I didn't like it last year I smelt it. I was in Sephora specifically to pick up Esteé Lauder Double Wear foundation and long story short they were out of my shade, so I plumped for this perfume instead. Why do I do that!? Every time...I can't just leave the store like a normal person. Why isn't leaving empty handed a thing? Anyway, if you like Bobbi Brown Beach perfume you will like this. It's a very sexy warm scent...kind of reminiscent of Banana Boat tanning oil...but sexy, basically it smells like you're on a hawaiian island and I'm down with that.

Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Foundation & Esteé Lauder Doubler Wear Foundation: So I lumped these together because I like mixing the two. I've been doing this all month and I can't get enough. First of all it doesn't budge or settle into lines (which is my biggest annoyance), it makes me look like a pore-less alien (which I love) and it doesn't look heavy! It is just perfect skin and it last for however long I need it to. I use the shade 6 medium in CT and Rattan in DW...however, Rattan is too dark on it's own.

Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder: I honestly don't know what urged this purchase but I've been enjoying it nonetheless! This sets makeup beautifully and again...makes you look pore-less (are we seeing a theme here people? I've got a pore issue). I like it better pressed into the skin with a puff/sponge opposed to brushing it on with a powder brush. Also, I'll never run out of this thing...the packaging is HUGE.

Well, that wraps it up for my March favourites and now it's time to tackle this work *sobs*. What were some of your favourites? Anything I should check out?
