Review: Tom Ford Summer 2015

Oh Mr. Tom Ford...be still my heart. Tom Ford is one of those brands where I want so many things, but always end up putting it off because it's so pricey in one go...and then I just go and spend the money on a bunch of little things that ultimately add up to the same price. Well, no more. I've decided to slowly build up my collections on things I really want, instead of things that I sort of want and end up getting because it's cheaper.

So that's what happened here. I picked up Tom Ford's Terra 02 Small Bronzing Powder and Naked Bronze 01 Cream and Powder Eye Colour...and as always his white and gold summer packaging is stunning and luxurious.

At first I thought I jumped the gun and regretted not getting the Bronzing Powder in Gold Dust, which has a gold shimmer running through it, but I absolutely love this. It's on the matte side but it doesn't leave the face flat by any means. Terra gives a very realistic bronze/tan to the skin and it doesn't turn orange or muddy. It's also not overly pigmented so you can never really over do it with this one.

However, I was shocked by the size. I know I ordered the small...but this is small. While this is more travel friendly than the full size, I don't think you get your monies worth. I plan on picking up Gold Dust in the full size soon and when I run out of Terra I'll definitely repurchase.

This...this you need to grab. Stop what you're doing and order/pick this up now. Naked Bronze is a cream and glitter shadow duo. As you can see it has a cream shadow on the bottom and a glitter shadow top coat on the top...perfect for travel. I love this.

The cream shadow smooths out beautifully and you need the tiniest bit, which makes me think this will last a ridiculously long time. The glitter topcoat transforms the bronze cream and the photo doesn't do it justice. It sparkles and makes your eyes look as if they are wet. Also, the cream shadow doesn't budge and once the glitter is on...it's on, absolutely zero fall out throughout the day.

And of course...here's a car selfie in an attempt to show you what they look like on

If you couldn't tell, I highly recommend these two bits. The cream/glitter shadow duo is limited while the bronzers are permanent, so if you're debating between the two, definitely go with the shadow. Do you have any Tom Ford products on your "wish list"?

I hope you all are having a lovely Friday and relaxing weekend and as always, thanks for stopping by!

  3. So glad I got Terra, it looks like a great bronzer. I'm still debating if I should get one of the cream eyeshadows, I keep putting them in my cart and removing them :))
