February Favourites 2016

I hardly ever do "favourites" posts and I don't know why. They're probably my favourite types of videos to watch and posts to read. So here were go.

I spoke about the Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser in the oil free version a couple posts back and I'm still loving the look it gives me. Actually come to think of it I think I've been using this for nearly two months now.

Obviously, this isn't going to give you full's light coverage at most so I pair it with concealer and it's a perfect skin day. I have oily combination skin and this lasts well on me; apply it around 6.30am and have to blot around noon which is typical for me.

I'm around an NC25-30 and wear the shade Nude.

Another thing I mentioned in a previous post, so I won't stay here long. Hourglass Ambient Lighting Powder in Diffused Light. I dust this under the eyes/triangle area, bridge of the nose, chin, and centre of the forehead and it gives subtle brightness.

It's no secret that I love the Beauty Blender and for a while I thought the Micro Beauty Blender was a bit of a gimmick but it's really great when blending out under eye concealer. I think it would be perfect if it was a teeny tiny bit bigger, but other than that I've been really enjoying it.

Honestly, Burberry eyeshadows could be my life long favourite but the combination I've been loving lately is Porcelain and Pale Barely.

I sweep Porcelain from lash line to brow bone and in the inner corner (basically everywhere) and then pat Pale Barely all over the lid. This combination just gives a really nice lightness/sophisticated sheen to the lid and it's perfect for everyday.

As you can see Tarte's Amazonian Clay Blush in Exposed is one of my favourite blushes. This has been on my list of things to use up and while I hit pan on it really quickly it's been really slow moving ever since. A really great neutral blush that's perfect for everyday

That about wraps it up for my monthly favourites. Anything you've been loving this months?

  1. I really need to give the Mini Beauty Blender another go, I thought it was a bit pointless but considering how much love I've given my Real Techniques Sponge it deserves another shot ;)

    1. It's not absolutely crucial but it does make blending underneath the eyes easier and everything comes out smoother on me. I just got the Real Techniques sponge and I'm really excited to give it a go! =]
