Review: Estée Lauder Bronze Goddess Summer Glow Multi-Palette

This review is going to be short, sweet, and to the point.

Besides holiday gift sets, I think summer collections have to be my favourite in the makeup world. I always want to look bronze and the promise of looking like a goddess...sign me up.

Guys, this was so disappointing.

1. It's really difficult to pick up any product from the pan and even with layer upon layer it still doesn't really show up on my light medium skin tone. I couldn't even get it to show up in pictures on my face to show you.

2. Forget about using softer brushes such as Japanese brushes...they won't do and you'll only end up damaging your brush in the long run.

3. Believe it or not those swatches are built up. I'm not asking for crazy pigmentation because I'm not keen on having to be careful when applying my makeup...but come on

I wanted to love this because just look at it, it's stunning but at $50 this is sadly going back. Honestly, save your money and go with something else for the summer.

Sorry for such a disappointing review, I'm hoping other summer collections (*ahem* Tom Ford) turn out better. I hope you all are having a lovely Easter weekend! See you next week.

  1. Awww no that's such a shame, I saw this on your Instagram and thought it looked dreamy, but it really should have better pigmentation for the price.
