March Favourites 2016

I don't know about you but ever since January time has been flying by and everything just needs to SLOW down!

I feel like I've been so busy this month I haven't really had a chance to sit down and enjoy my makeup or really think about the whole getting ready process.

Lately I've been hitting the snooze button so many times that I slap on whatever's already on my vanity and call it a day. Hopefully, April will bring on a better sleeping schedule...I doubt it *sigh*.

Tom Ford Soleil Blanc Eau De Parfum. Stupidly expensive but I can't help but love it. If you like Estée Lauder's Bronze Goddess perfume (which I also love) this will be right up your alley. It's a slightly sexier version of EL Bronze Goddess and lasts longer but really similar...honestly, if you already have EL Bronze Goddess you don't need this one.

Too Faced Perfect Flush Blush in Peach Beach. Um hi...where the hell have I been? This is a fantastic blush.

This has been around for a while but I just happened to pick this up during Ulta's 21 Days of Beauty sale. This is a lovely glowy peach/pink blush/highlighter hybrid and I love it. We're talkin' serious glow people.

Milani's Baked Blush in Luminoso is another example of how I've had my head stuck in the sand somewhere.

I've been switching between this and the Too Faced blush all month (I've had the Milani slightly longer) and I don't see myself putting this down anytime soon. Even if it was at a higher price point I'd still think it was worth the money.

I think I've overlooked the Milani blushes for so long because I remember purchasing Rose D'Oro and it looked horrible on me, like a slapped across the face kind of look. No bueno.

Best $10 I've spent in a long time.

Last but not least the oldie but a goodie, Urban Decay Naked original. Ever since I did the Perfect Palette Tag I rediscovered some palettes in my collection I've been over looking.

I've been loving all the shades in between (and including) Virgin and Buck. I'm pretty sure I've been using Virgin the most. Talk about an amazing inner corner/browbone highlight, it instantly give the Bambi eyed/full nights sleep look, which I've been needing as of late.

Well that wraps it up for today's post! What have you guys been loving this month? Let me know if you'd be interested in a review on the Milani or Too Faced blushes (you know with swatches and actual application photos).

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Milani Luminoso is one of my favourites too, it's so beautiful. The Tom Ford fragrance sounds right up my street, though I don't think I could part with that much cash, why are they so expensive! :()

    1. It's SO gorgeous...I'm kicking myself for not picking it up sooner. As much as I've been enjoying the fragrance, it's not worth the price point.

  2. This is such a great post! I adore Bronze goddess! I feel it screams summer in a bottle so the Tom Ford one seems so suited to me!
