Sephora VIB Rouge Haul

It's a haul!

So as I'm sure you all know the VIB Sephora sale just passed and I thought I'd share some of the things I picked up.

This sale comes around twice a year and each time I try to have a condensed list of things off my "loves" list just so I don't go all buck wild but since I have zero will power I made multiple orders and that's when random things were purchased.

1. Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush in Incandescent Electra: I've wanted this blush since around October and I don't really know what took me so long because I've used this all week and it's love. It's the strangest thing but I feel as if this blush actually blurs any texture on my skin but it's also one of those blush/highlighter hybrids, it's amazing.

2. Yves Saint Laurent Touche Éclat in #1.5: This was an impulse buy...haven't tried this yet but I'll report back.

3. Burberry Fresh Glow Compact Luminous Foundation in Nude Ochre No. 12: Okay I feel like I deserve a little bit of an applause because I had this face powder, 3 blushes, the eyeshadow quad, along with 3 single eyeshadows all from Burberry in my cart and I narrowed it down to these two things guys! I'm a wee bit worried that this might be slightly too light for me but I've heard great things about this, so we shall see.

4. Burberry Complete Eye Kit in Mocha No. 2: This is no surprise because you all know how I feel about Burberry eyeshadows.

5. Dr. Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Extra Strength Peel Pads 60 pack: I ran out of my exfoliating pads a week before the sale (talk about perfect timing) and I decided to try these out. Again I will report back.

6. Giorgio Armani Maestro Fusion Makeup in #6: Biggest impulse buy of them all. I really don't know why I got this because these really fluid types of foundations never work with my skin, but I'l be testing this out hopefully this week.

What did you guys pick up from the sale? Is anyone else like me who makes one controlled/modest purchase and then keeps making smaller purchases after as if they don't count? Ha!

  1. Such gorgeous high end picks! I would love to try more Burberry makeup - I have my eye on their Earthy blush though I suspect it may be better suited to paler, pink-toned complexions than my yellowish one. Hope that Armani foundation works well for you. I'm currently using their Luminous Silk but I'd be curious to try Maestro.

    1. Thank you! If you do end up trying the Earthy blush out I'd be really interested to get your thoughts on it because I've been curious about it too. I'm actually working on a review for it now!
