What's In My Makeup Bag: Moving & Road Trip Edition

If you haven't guessed by the title...I moved and did the whole cross country road trip, which was SO much fun (highly recommend). However, I'm sure I'm not the first person to say it but moving is a f*&$in' pain in the ass.

You know how some beauty bloggers talk about how they occasionally miss having one makeup bag with all of their things? Well, that ain't me. Sure, occasionally I get a bit overwhelmed with having an excessive amount of crap but generally speaking I get incredibly...for lack of a better word, bored with a single bag (I know a ridiculous first world problem).

Bottom line: your girl likes her options.

Anyway, I knew that this whole moving process was going to take around 2 months a.k.a. 2 months without the makeup stash. So, basically if I was a one bagger type of makeup gal this is what you would find.

The Base:

Guerlain Meteorites Perles: I've had this primer for ages and I just want to finish it up. Don't love it or hate it, it's nice but definitely wasn't worth the hefty price tag.

Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser: my ride or die. I'm starting to think nothing will ever compare to this. I wear the shade Nude, which is slightly too light, but I know they released a few new shades and Natural looks like it'll be perfect for warmer/yellow skin tones.

Make Up Forever Concealers: HD for under the eyes and Full Cover for blemishes. Absolutely love these concealers/correctors.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Powder: Oh man, the LM tinted moisturiser topped with this powder is a dream team combination. I wear the shade 4.

Face Powders:

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette: I love the ambient lighting powders and I just bought this before I left, so I thought why not bring it along. Honestly, I miss my Diffused Light powder.

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed: This is in the shade Opal and the funny thing is is that this was in my "give away" pile and I had seen Emily from Beauty Broadcast use it in a video and decided to give it another try. SO glad I did because I'm loving this shade.

Laura Geller Baked Body Frosting: This should come as no surprise. If you haven't tried the shade Tahitian Glow by now...please do yourself a favour and try it. It's really a fan-freakin-tastic bronzer.

NARS Orgasm Blush: It's a cult classic and one of my all time favourites.

Eyes:

Hourglass Arch Brow Sculpting Pencil: Granted, I have pretty thick brows to begin with that need minimal filling in, but I still use it every day and I've had it for well over a year and it's still going' strong. Talk about bang for your buck. I'm in the shade Soft Brunette.

IT Cosmetics Superhero Mascara: I.love.this.mascara. This is my second tube and it's incredible.

Maybelline Colour Tattoo: I always have Bad to The Bronze as a base on had because I love that it's not too warm of a bronze and literally goes with everything.

Burberry Single Eyeshadows: If makeup products could be humanised these would be the equivalent to my children. I've sung the praises of Burberry shadows since my first purchase and I'm still singing them to this day.

Lips:

Nivea A Kiss of Olive Oil & Lemon: I always have two things on had...chapstick and hand sanitiser. This is one of my favourites and 9 times out of 10 what I'm typically wearing throughout the day.

Tom Ford Bare Lipstick: comfortable balmy nude lipstick that goes with everything and is easy to slap on.

Too Faced Lip Liner: I have the shade Perfect Nude and Perfect Spice. They're just really good lip liners, that again, go with everything. Sensing a makeup theme?

Phew that was a long one...still with me? *Hugs*

Well, this is what I've basically been living out of for the past couple of months. What would be in your makeup bag if you had to stick with the same stash for a prolonged period of time?

As always, thanks for stopping by and  I'll chat with you guys in my next blog post!
